Welcome

Welcome to our school! We believe that parent participation is key to student success; our new website is designed to provide parents with all the information they need to be active participants in their student’s education. You will find that the site works just as well on mobile devices as it does on a desktop so you can find information on the go.

Dear: Chavez Students, Parents, and Community

I welcome you to Cesar E. Chavez Elementary School and to an amazing year of learning for your child! I am honored and humbled to be your principal.
As we embark on a new school 2024 -25, I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts and intentions with all of you. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as your principal, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead this year.
At Cesar E. Chavez Elementary, we believe that a supportive environment is crucial for our students’ growth and success. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to creating a learning environment where every student feels valued, inspired, and motivated to achieve. We encourage open communication and collaboration among students, parents, and educators, as we all play a vital role in the development of our school community.
This year, we will continue to prioritize academic excellence while also promoting social-emotional learning and personal development. Your child’s well-being is our priority, and we will implement programs and initiatives aimed at fostering resilience, respect, and responsibility, both in and out of the classroom.
I also want to emphasize the importance of feedback and involvement from our families. We envision our school as a partnership among students, parents, and educators. I encourage each of you to stay engaged, attend school events, and participate in discussions that shape our school’s future. Together, we can create an environment that helps our students achieve.
As we set out on this journey together, I am excited about the potential we have to achieve great things. Let’s encourage our students to dream big, aim high, and work hard. I look forward to seeing all the incredible accomplishments they will achieve this year.
Thank you for your support and dedication to our school community. Here’s to a successful and enriching school year!

Sincerely,

Mariano Collazo Jr.
